It's an Allis "G" made for truck (Vegetable) farms, it's smaller than a regular tractor, and it's built so the operator could see what they are cultivating around.

My dad got one for himself and one for my mother. When I'm there and we take the tractors to the shows I usually drive the Johnny Popper in the parade while he drives a John Deere Model M and my mom drives her G.

He has the Farmall H because that's what his dad had when he was a kid.

My thread has wondered wildly off track.

Here is my '51 Farmall H, I don't believe in expensive paint jobs personally, although I do like to see other people's tractors nicely restored.

I hope an IH Garand is in my future.

Can't say enough good things about Jim's event in Monroe, got to spend some quality time with a Garand. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and I got no end of good, and very much appreciated advise.

I'm not a good shot, but I put some holes in the plywood!
