    acog tao2 fake?

so i recently picked up an acog and i need someone to give me a final say on it being fake, or maybe a refurbished, or dealer sample...etc.
here is what i have so far.
the trijicon logo and made in usa logo are embossed, not sticker or paint
the adjustment turrets are finger turn, not screwdriver.
it has the holes for mounting an rmr plate
the flashing is a little rough. not clean machined like the chinese ones
the glass is amazingly clear and the led adjustment knob is correct
all of the turret caps have orings.

ok so now the confusing part

THERE IS NO SERIAL NUMBER ANYWHERE.

i have to teach tonight, so if i am slow responding, that is why. i will attach some pictures also. thanks in advance

Did you check everything, per Trijicon?

The above link shows where the S/N should be…if I recall correctly, they mark the S/N before sawing the casting to assure the correct pieces go back together. I'm 99.999998% certain there is no way a missed S/N stamping would go unnoticed and the assembly packaged and shipped with their process.

Everything Triji produces has a SN on it. Let's hope you didn't pay a lot for it.

I don't disagree with anything said so far. But nothing I have researched Showed any of the fakes with any of the details that I posted up top. I'm just curious if there is any explanation good or bad

Thank you for that Tom. Yeah I have already decided that I will either keep it or sell it as a clone. My reputation is worth more than what I paid for that scope. I'm just curious if anyone has any insight, Because none of the articles I read, and none of the videos I watched had Fakes with all of those details in them
