Starting May 3rd and occurring every first and third Thursday of the month thru September SHFC will be having USPSA practice night. There will be four USPSA stages set up. They will consist of paper targets, steel poppers and plates, drop turners, swingers, Texas Star, Plate Racks, and a Polish Plate Rack. Round count will be between 90 to 100 rounds if you do not take any makeup shots or shoot any stages twice. This is set up for seasoned USPSA shooters as well as someone who would like to give USPSA a try but does not want to start at a sanctioned USPSA Match. Scores will be kept using Practiscore and will be posted so you can see how you did compared to other shooters shooting like equipment. All USPSA rules will apply. Cost for the night is $10.00. We have safety meeting at 6:00 and start shooting after. If you plan on coming we ask that you try to register at https://practiscore.com/clubs/sparta...d-fishing-club. It makes setting up the squads much easier. Check out http://spartahuntingandfishingclub.c...psa-idpa-3gun/ for a list of what you should have to get started and some video's on introduction to USPAS and a couple of last year's stages. We have more props this year so that allows some interesting stage set ups. Hope to see some new faces so come on out and give it a try, you have to start someplace so why not this year at SHFC.
The club is located northeast of Sparta, on Long Lake Drive. See club website for direction and map.
