The manufacture date of my pistol is 29-APR-2017, it was bought new February 2018 on clearance through a gunbroker auction, a steal at $599 plus shipping and local FFL transfer fee.
You'll enjoy shooting that P239.. It is a tac driver in a very small package. Congratulations.

Is my 239 with half life limited night sights a collector's item now?
No matter, I will never sell it anyway.

Could have made a small fortune selling them on gunbroker and Ebay.

I had a 239 once, was a top heavy SOB, but a good shooter. The 225-A1 I just traded away was just to damn big for what it was, now my M11-A1? Perfect!! Topgun always had great prices on 225-A1 mags, way cheaper then anyone else, might check on the 239s.

That is good to know. I'm working on a trade with a buddy and **fingers crossed** I might have a 239 soon. Sad part it was mine that I sold to him 10 years ago and have regretted ever since.

now that its been 9 months has mec gar fired up the stamping machines and started making them ?

It was all about people thinking they had no hurry to gt mags, bought the gun, then everyone that had 4 mags and loved there 239 went out and bought 8-10 mags for a lifetime supply.

So seems like mecgar would start making them.

This happened when they brought over the p6 from germany 10 years ago.

Hogue and pachymar fired up the rubber molds as well.

    JimSig,

How did the 225A1 mags actually work in your 239?

    Thanks
Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

They work and function 100%.. Couldn't be happier to come to this realization.

are they actually the exact same, or they just are close enough.

The new 225 A1 is mostly p239 internals, right ?

I know there is not much if any parts compatibilty to the old p225 which is weird in my opinion they own it, have the tooling still I assume. Sig can be so weird.

The magazines body, follower and springs are all the same 100%. The only difference are the base plates.. Look at the pictures in the first post I had in this thread for a visual reference.
