Where does MGO want us to move to?

So....I have been absent from the MGO scene for quite some time but really enjoyed being an active member of MGO for years before being forced to move to IL for work years ago. Well my hobby for smithing and firearm customization turned into a business back in mid 2015 and have been very happy as we grew into what you will see below on our FB page. Well fast forward to recent as IL continues to push for further gun control, we are considering a move back to Michigan. I figured we don't have any tethers to any specific spot in Michigan so I figured I would poll the group......Where do you want to see a full custom shop in Michigan?

Here's a summary of what we do:

Certified Cerakote Work (Ranked in the Top 10 in the Country)
Grip Modification and Stippling (Including Laser Stippling)
CNC Millwork and Custom Firearm Manufacturing
    Barrel Turning and Threading/Fluting
Deep Laser Engraving (Including Laser Stippling)
    Light Armory work
CNC Routing to include Wood Furniture
    Small Millwork and Lathe Work
    We may begin Bluing again

We are looking around Michigan again and may be looking to move near the end of the year. We are looking in Rural areas for living so nothing within really big major cities. Just figured it might be fun to tap the network of guys/gals here to see what ya'll think. Our shop's info can be found here ( www.facebook.com/appliedarsenalfinishes )

Thats pretty close to Dan at Arclight isn't it? We used to live in Waterford and drive out to Livingston quite a bit. Nice area.

Ingham County would be nice. Central location in the middle of the state.
And I'd love to have someone close for that kind of stuff.

I think you want to be where the people, where the money is, and easy access.

I think you want to be off woodward corridor, right at 696-/ I75.

    Couple miles any direction.

Ohh ballz, just saw you want rural, for you to live, or the shop, or shop will be where you live.

I personally like china township, algonac, marine city, harsens island area.

I think a sweet spot for rural living is the Dryden, Metamora, Lapeer area. Lots of open areas, 20 minutes from heavy commercial, and a relative high amount of people for a business if you locate it in Lapeer.

Graduated from Oxford way back when.....Not a big fan of Lapeer. I totally agree with all of your sentiments though. Definitely looking for something similar.
