Yes, that is about the going rate for them.
They are a bit rare, the manufacturer went belly up, and the parts aren't exactly standard(so good luck getting replacements).

Once the Lage 5.56 upper is approved and hits the market for $3k... The Sabre uppers won't be worth much. Until then, 2500 is around normal.
