what about rings for a rimfire nikon scope.

Others in the past suggested on my model 25 marlin to just use factory dove tails. I emailed my local dealer to get me some nikon prices on friday or saturday I want to order something, and might have them order rings if they can get good ones.

    Steel?

    Aluminum ?

I do not care about weight on a tiny 22 so if anyone thinks the steel ones bite in better I would be open to suggestions on what to get.

Go with the 3-9. I prefer offset mounts on an action like yours.

They offer a bit more room for adjusting the eye relief or turret clearance.

Ok, I thougt so, just was not sure.

Are BK rings any good, this is just a 100 yard marlin, but I have no reference point for crap rings for 22, vs sorta ok. I definitely do not need super high end.
