    Central Arms SXS disaasembly/re-assembly ?

Anyone ever had the pleasure (or curse) of taking one of these apart?

It is a Stevens 1915 patent... but more Cresent like.. weird.

Cant bring myself to just start hammering out pins, sort of looking for a general
"do this" and "dont do that" ... sort of thing.

Why do you need to take it apart? Broken firing pins are a relatively easy fix, but functional problems are probably best left to a good boxlock gunsmith. Even obvious broken springs can be a difficult replacement, and the parts are hard to come by.

These were store brand versions of the Stevens 311 series, and there are YouTube videos on its function and disassembly.

His terms of use have changed but Steve has many manuals on his site.

Edit: Steve has passed away but someone has continued his work.
