Can you use a glock gen 3 frame and a gen 4 upper?

Keep finding gen 3 frames for good prices. If it is stripped can I use all my gen 4 internals and gen 4 slide?

Nope. The slide nose is too wide due to the new RSA design

True for the full size and compacts. Not true for the subcompacts. Subcompacts didn't have a RSA redesign between gen 3 & 4...

OP, if you're talking about your 19G4 slide on a Gen 3 frame; it won't fit.

Gen 4 frames can usually take a gen 3 slide. There is a gap that's noticeable when looking at the muzzle end though.

    Just to be clear...

The picture above this post illustrates the gap I talked about when a gen 3 slide is on a gen 4 frame.

There is a filler piece that you can buy to fill the gap if you use a Gen 3 slide on a Gen 4 frame.
