    Electronic Game Calls

Posted this ? on the Michigan Sportsman site, got 1 yes and 1 no! Can you use an electronic game call for deer hunting? Searched all the relevant laws and can find no ban. My outlook is, if not mentioned then it is legal. Laws only restrict freedoms(that is another discussion!). If you think not legal, can you give a cite?

Most look to the Hunting Digest for this kind of info, but (even though there is nothing mentioned in the digest on deer calls) the digest is just that - a digest of the Conservation order that rules all hunting.

The Wildlife Conservation Order https://www.michigan.gov/documents/dnr/WCO_458867_7.pdf doesn't prohibit using electronic calls for deer so......

Just like open carry in Michigan, because there is no law against it, it's legal.
