Well good to know I'm not the only one to buy a gun to shoot a match. I bought a 17 brand new. All stock. Oh I did put dawson sights on it though. Hopefully that's allowed. See you there.

He said that the gun has to be bone stock and they replaced the connector with a stock one and gave me the 3.5 lb connector back.. As I shot the match I was out of my comfort zone trigger wise as I never shot the stock connector in my glock before.. After the match I put the 3.5 connector back in the G17 as this is my favorite IDPA handgun.. This year I bought a G17 and I kept it all stock except polishing the heck out of the connector. I have been shooting this gun for the past two months to get some trigger time on it. from steel plates to idpa matches..
So yeah I bought a dedicated G17 for GSSF matches only.

yes Sights, rubber grips, are allowed. I have Dawson sights on my G17 as well.. What a parallel coincidence..
