Current market is around 8k. I for one dropped out of line last week, just can't see 3k for a upper.

But then you’ve got the real McCoy and you can put all sorts of uppers into it.

Personally, I’m saving up for an M-16.

    Very true, and fair enough.

Though an adapter that allows you to use ANY ar15 upper is also in the works. Closed bolt, too. Tenko 10/16. They're doing them for the Fat MACS first.

So, which MAC is the best value now? Would like to shoot 9mm and .22lr. I have a handful of AR uppers and mags now, so that would be cool if I could use them.

M11/9 is the only one out there with a 22 kit that functions reliably.

when it comes to the macs...m11 in .380 is the most fun....if you can afford a machine gun you can afford to shoot it....the m11 in 380 shoots by far the fastest and is the smallest. IMO best combo for a subgun...speaking from personal ownership

I've gotten my 11/9 well over 2000 rpm many times.

    Fast isn't always good.

Though there IS a CFW tungsten bolt for the 11a1 that allows it to shoot 9mm now.

The Tenko waiting list is already pretty long. I got on it a week after it was announced and am #212
