I have a hankering to try the Strike Industries Glock comp but a gen 4 Glock is at least third down on the acquisition list. Does anyone have a G19x and a pistol with this accessory? I just see alot of gen-4 in this supposedly gen-5 pistol and am thinking it might work.

According to their website, it will only work on Gen4 17's and 19's.

As I have seen and researched.
And the G19X is a hybrid of G4 and G5 characteristics. Hence why I'm asking.

It's a Gen 5 mechanically. There's nothing Gen 4 about it.

I got my answer from someone selling one on armslist. According to him it installs just fine, but the bevel around the nose of the slide allows too much gas to come back and not properly escape through the ports in the comp.
