Some other person above stated that the county your land is in was code 037, I don’t know if that’s the correct one-I was using it as an example.

The base code is 0XX, the prefix the 1 or 2 designates the type of land you want to hunt on. 20XX would be the private land code.

You chose from the drop down when you bought the lotto for your doe tag, it’s the “product “ code for the online transaction on the DNR’s e-license purchasing system.

I'm a bit confused on how the leftovers work. I didn't apply for an antlerless this year, but received my normal 2018 single tag. When I click on Deer on the eLicense, it says "There are no items that can be purchased from this category at this time."
I'm in DMU 026, and it says there are 7757 leftover available as of today.

If your 40 acres is crop or farmland, you can apply for DMAP tags or crop destruction tags.... if you have deer doing damage to said crop.
It (often) does require a visit to the property from DNR, but otherwise is a relativity easy process and they issue tags which can then be used anytime in or out of the traditional deer season.
