I have a stainless CVA, 50 cal that has been shot 5 times. The scope on top is a Bushnell Trophy 3x9. Scope has been bore sighted but never had the gun shot under it. Looking to sell and need an estimate on what to ask.
Thanks

$250.00 to $300.00
I would list it as $300.00 OBO and see what happens
From what I could tell
Optima V2 NEW is $260 - 280
Busnhell scope, NEW is $45 used... probably $25 - 40
That would make me think.. Trade in value at a LGS - about $150 - 190
retail... $190- $1million. depends on the buyer..
just my 2 cents. ( worth every penny too.. lol)
I am getting ready to sell my .50 cal. stainless Optima Pro to a guy at work, for $200. We both feel it is a fair price, with the accessories.
well, without the specific model of "trophy"... they are from $20... to 70 and a little more..
just took a quick average.. no need to get snippy.. Just because you paid X for it, doesnt make it worth X today.
here is a trophy XLT 4x12 for ( at this moment.. $20)

Scopes can get as personal as sights and holsters. People like what they like, they are brand loyal etc. I agree with you. Would be buyer might be a vortex, leupold, or nikon guy. He thinks he is doing you a favor taking the sight he does not even want off the sellers hands, the seller loves it.
The perceived value is low.
Just think how much of a deal you would want on soemthing at the store new, if its NOT something you like and they wanted to bundle it. You buy a tent, they are making you take some boots off their hands. I want what I want. Unless its alost free, I do not want stuff pushed on me.
Nevermind if its used, not warranty, you do not get to try it out. The risk is all on the buyer.
the optima v2 is the nice triggger one lots of people will give you 200 but dont get too greedy if you get a live one at your house and offers you close to your price.
