Vortex has great service, I lost the spacer for a magnifier and some screws for a sight. They sent them out even though I asked how to buy replacements.

    Hi Jim,

I'm an Athlon dealer and really love their stuff. Their version is the BTR 11 which retails for $200 but my price is $150. It comes with a lifetime warranty and is rated for 1000g's. You'll need to pick your riser but they are cheap. Check it out.

I believe my warranty card says lifetime warranty, but will verify and report back.

    Update

Thanks.. I'll keep that in mind when I drop the hammer on the purchase.

Eye relief is the key factor. Even with a pistol brace, your head will be a lot closer to the sight than with a rifle stock (ATF limits length of pull on pistol braces).
The new SBA3 is pretty damn near a stock, even uses a mil spec tube(but still lacks an inch)

Between those two I would suggest the Sig. If other sights are an option, I would consider the Vortex Sparc AR.
