$850 for this...you must be kidding.
Rack Grade - Pistol will exhibit rust, pitting, and wear on exterior surfaces and friction surfaces. Grips may be incomplete and exhibit cracks. Pistol requires minor work to return to issuable condition.
I understand the supply & demand thing. But in my op. they may be worth 1/2 of those prices. And that is IF you really wanted one. No thanks. I would rather spend my money on a new RIA or ATI.

MEH...
Since I have no interest in 1911 pistols, I couldn't care less about those prices.
The fact that they won't ship to C&R holders is absurd
You can buy a Kimber cheaper. They can stick those 1911s.
I'm really curious to see how they sell.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Are you serious?Rack Grade $850. Pistol will exhibit rust, pitting, and wear on exterior surfaces and friction surfaces. Grips may be incomplete and exhibit cracks. Pistol requires minor work to return to issuable condition.
$850 for a gun that has pitting, probably missing the grips, and most likely 10-15% finish left? CMP must be smoking meth.
Didn't the military give the CMP these for free/almost free so they could get them out of storage where it was costing them money?
What a joke. Honestly anyone who buys one of these is an idiot.
Plus the fact they won't sell to C&R holsters makes even less sense than their incredibly high prices.
Sadly, I have a feeling they're going to sell like hotcakes anyway.
If I were to buy one, I'd want the $1,050 model... I said, I'd buy one if they became available. However, If I'm spending $1,000 on a 1911, I don't think it will be one of these....
