The prices seem high until you consider how much other US 1911s sell for. They're still undercutting those by a huge margin. These are geared towards collectors and they aren't trying to totally destroy the milsurp 1911 market.

I'll have to pass.
No clause in the constitution could by any rule of construction be conceived to give congress a power to disarm the people. Such a flagitious attempt could only be made under some general pretence by a state legislature. But if in any blind pursuit of inordinate power, either should attempt it, this amendment may be appealed to as a restraint on both.

I agree. That doesn't make much sense.
As for the price, people will pay for those. Have any of you seen what other places sell milsurp stuff for? Have you seen what people will pay for an AK? The gun world is full of examples of people paying far more than what it is worth.

A worn out rusty 1911 with little to no actual historic or collector's value for only $850!? What a DEAL!
I don't know who would buy these and why.
I'm happy for the collectors with the inclination to buy one . I'm not going to be a buyer because of the need for shipping to a dealer that will add to the cost . This process just doesn't bring any interest out of me at all .
