    Anyone doe hunting this weekend?

I got my private land tag- we'll see what pops up. There's a lot of foliage - not many good shots for me.

Thanks for the well wishes. Deer hunting is always fun. To me the best part is the family and friends I get to hang out with in the woods, and if I happen to get one, then I get the bonus of putting delicious venison on the table.

My goal is to find something for my oldest son to shoot. He was four the first time he got to help me track a deer. I usually shoot them in the neck but I shot this one through the lungs just so he could track one. My other son is a couple years younger and I'm sure he doesn't remember a good season, yet. Hopefully he'll get to be with one of us when we get a deer and catch the excitement.

Not enough. Looks like just a fender and wheel well.
