    I have used nail polish for years have the same dab on my Marlin .22 that I put on 20 years ago. They have it in bright orange works well in low light.

    These guys have both the practical experience, but the right answer too.

    If you want brighter colors, use a base coat of one of the iridescent white ones, then use a translucent high-vis color, yellow, green or orange on top. You don't want too shiny, so if you can find a flat clear coat, that will help protect the rest.

    My DIL gave me a bottle of BRIGHT green polish from Halloween. Have been using it for years. Stays on & comes off easily with remover. I use red on the rear green on the front. My old eyes love it.

    I use nail polish too..
    found that a coat of clear nail polish, over any color,
    will keep the color intact for a much longer period of time.

    That's exactly what I do for my old eyes! White nail polish first then fluorescent orange over top

    I've always used Testers (model paint). Toothpick makes a perfect applicator.

    Thank you, everybody! It looks like my daughter and I will be shopping for nail polish together! We already shoot together, it should be fun!
