Many States have passed resolutions that said that all firearms that were made within that state and remained within the State were solely under the purview of the State and Federal law didn't apply (including Michigan). Any of these that actually went before SCOTUS were struck down.
And pot is still illegal at a Federal level, and they can persecute prosecute any time they wish regardless of what State law says. The concept that pot might be legalized within the, or any State, just means that the State will not prosecute if you don't violate their laws.

Laws concerning machine guns go back to the days of Al Capone & the Purple Gang. Nothing is ever going to change. The Left is forced to watch re-runs of Eliot Ness & the Untouchables for reference. Problem with that is, Chicago & Detroit are still as violent as they were back then. Gun LAWS don't change anything. They genuinely think that if we were suddenly able to buy a new machine gun, we would somehow be transformed into a cold blooded murderer.
