    BOREsighter

HaVE had the red bore sight for a long time now. The switch is toast, so I bought a new green one. I HATE the adaptors & the screws that came with the new one. They are close to being right, except for the screw. They are just a tad bit smaller. Would it be possible to re-tap the threads since it's TINY & probably the next size. I truly like the head on these screws. they have an allen type head & the others are phillips. Have found the slotted & the phillips, but not the allen.

My first stop was Northside Hardware in Wayne. That place is like a museum. Would a gun store like Top Gun that has a Smith be a better choice ? I would REALLY like to get the laser tapped.

Gun smith should be able to tap your bore sighter, so should any machine shop. Is it going to be cost effective though?

post pics of what you had, then what you just bought. Or link to it on amazon etc if its still available.

I think mostt of them are under 50-60 bucks, so I would search more for the same unit you liked in the past, I bet its still made.
