    A little different than a drillpress and ball end mill....drill press still doesn't have the rigidity needed....not to mention having a tool and knowing how to use that tool are two different things

    Alright, enough. I just went with the grey tape http://tractiongrips.com/catalog/i248.html , but won't put them on until after it returns from CGW.

    I may go with checkering later, though.

    I use skateboard tape on my cz's
    The problem with checkering 75's is the "lip" at the bottom of the grip makes it very hard to do it by hand so machine checkering is gonna be your only option and then it can only be a partial section of the front strap because of the swell at the top and bottom
    If you are gonna get metal work done consider serrations or stippling instead, I had a pre b that was stippled that I stupidly sold, it was very nice in form and function

    Those look nice, they are not the talon brand though, are they ?

    I think I might try those out. My brooks tactical A grip is coming off a bit. It was pricier than talons, they both are nice but the price they charge seems pretty steep I know it costs them 1 buck to make these, maybe cheaper.
