ar15 pistol questions

So i have a PSA ar15 pistol.

PSA lower with sob brace and a 10.5 psa upper with flash can


The upper right now is in 223/556

Just want to make sure on a couple things im pretty sure i know the answer too

1. Can i swap out my 223/556 upper for a 300 blackout upper on the same lower? Im 99% sure i can since the lower says multi cal

2. Can someone clarify putting a rifle length upper (say a 16" upper on pistol lower) You cant put a pistol upper on a rifle lower because then it would be a SBR, but can you put a rifle upper on a pistol lower?

1. Yes. Put any caliber you wish on top. The lower caliber markings are essentially irrelevant.
2. A pistol can always be a rifle, but a rifle can never be a pistol. Swap away.
