Course Overview
MTC Staff instructors, with years of competitive experience to include a recent international victory at the 2018 W.P.W. and a solid 2nd place Service Rifle Division finish which aired on The History Channel's SNIPER: The Ultimate Competition, will introduce precision rifle shooters to typical PRS/NRL style match format, rules and regulations, how to prepare, what to bring to a match, and gain experience running through 4-6 stages with instruction on key elements of these stages.
Prerequisites: Long Range Basic Course (Level 2) or a strong pre-existing foundation for long range shooting.
Note : Must have confirmed gun data from 100-1000 yards.

0830 Intro to PRS style matches - briefing
0900 Gear review – What to bring and how to pack it – briefing and layout.
1000 Stage 1: PRS skill builder.
Barricade – 20-30 minutes instruction/demonstration,
20-30 minutes student dry fire,
30 minutes live fire.
1130 Pre match preparation - briefing.
1200 Lunch.
1300 Stage 2.
1430 Stage 3.
1600 Stage 4.
1730 Wrap up.
1800 ENDEX.
Gear List
Mandatory:
- Scoped rifle capable of 1 MOA or better.
- Scope with target turrets.
- Mil or MOA measuring reticles.
- Ammo: 120 rounds of match grade. (allows 2 runs through each stage)
- Eye and ear protection.
- Clothing suitable for indoor/outdoor training.
- Durable backpack to carry all your equipment.
- Data book, ballistic chart for your rifle/ammo.
Recommended:
- Shooting tripod.
- 20x (Minimum) spotting scope.
- Snacks/beverages.
