    I think they're supposed to throw them out.


    I guarantee most PD's keep them in their own little system.

    Oh, your not wrong but I'll bet lunch Dearborn PD knows how many guns fell into the lake on my last trip to Lake erie.

    Northville PD apparently can't keep track of how many guns I get bored of and sell.

    Their system has guns under my name that I haven't owned in 8+ years, and there are quite a few guns that I KNOW I gave them paperwork for that for some reason were never actually registered to me.

    What a hilariously bad system.

    The law says nothing about what the MSP does with them.
    The law also has no penalty for failure on either of their parts.
