Seriously though…why did Cadillac do a pre-auto show reveal of their 2020 new addition to their lineup (XT6)?
Doesn't it kind of command/assure focused attention vs getting lost in the flurry of reveals/announcements of other manufacturers?

That Delta Kwik is entirely unnecessary and does a job that most of us don't do often and don't really have problems with even when using bare hands.

In the automakers case, the autoshow doesn't have the same panache for reveals as it once did. They can do a less expensive event, allowing more time and control before the press has to run to the next big reveal. It all ends up online anyway. Here's an interesting article on the whole thing.
