Bringing an Old Gun to Michigan

I moved to Michigan 6 years ago. Since I have lived here, I got my CPL and have purchased a few pistols. When I left Florida, I left some of my existing pistols with my father. I am ready to bring them up but I am not sure how to go about the Pistol Sales Record. Should I sign it as seller and purchaser? Thanks.

Question, because it pertains to the subject matter.

You use SGT as part of your screen name, are you currently or recently parted from one of the United States Armed Forces?

State police will tell you to sign the RI-060 as both buyer and seller... HOWEVER, they are advising you to commit a felony. Read 28.432, 28.422a, and 28.421, paying particular attention to the words "another person".

Since you are not the buyer AND seller, you can't complete the state's "transaction" record. It's not actually a registration database. Even if there was an issue, it's nothing more than a civil infraction with a $250 fine.
