She'd really need to find an honest gun store owner, not something like a pawnstore or Cabela's looking to turn a quick buck, that could appraise the collection and give her an honest going rate for everything in the wild as well as let her know: "these are the things you should keep because they are going to be collectibles and increase their value and these are the things you should sell now if you need the money because they're unlikely to have much collectible value".
I know someone that used Dury's Guns in TX. The buy whole estates, and I heard were fair. They pay wholesale price, so you're not going to get retail They send you boxes and labels to ship them. If it's a big collection, they will drive to retrieve it.
