    Ar pistol registration

So i purchased 2 anderson lowers yesterday and 1 was transferred to me as a pistol not a "other"like i thought i told them. I told them i was gonna build a pistol and needed it transfered as a "other". The guy assured me that it would be no problem to just go and take this to the msp. But i read you have to have barrel lenght, shots all tjat stuff and on my pistol sales record it just says n/a. I once again asked the sales person and he said it wont be a problem just take it to them. So im wondering if there will be a problem.

People have been told a couple different things, but I don’t think it really matters a whole lot because you can change uppers so readily. I think they do want a barrel length, however. From what I was told by MSP, they wanted it built, then registered. That was a few years ago, though. If there’s an issue, they will probably just call to get the info they want. You could try calling MSP if you wanted.

I would strongly advise you to read through the legal forum on this topic, and then ask this question there if you don't come up with an answer...
although I'm fairly certain you'll have answers, but probably still not know what to do...
Here are some threads popping up on the first page of the legal forum

and then toss in these two for good measure

It has been stated, repeatedly, by our Legal Beagles, that you should never seek legal guidance from the MSP, or any other LEO
