Any Michigan gunsmith to send FN SCAR barrel to get chopped?

I gave my form 1 tax stamp back. Looking to send out my barrel. Found several out of state that do a lot of work on SCARs. Is there anyone in Michigan I should consider? Would like to use a local business if possible but want to use someone who has done this plenty of times before.

He's a bit of a drive for you, but less than a drive to Adco.
Try Ken Kubin in Farmington Hills.

He's in Canton, is extremely nice, and very good at what he does.

He did some work on my VZ.61 SBR and he's chopping down my 15-22 barrel soon when I SBR that.

    I highly recommend him.

Thank you. I hadn't thought about Ken for this. Always think about him for AK work.

Thanks. I'll have to send Craig an email and see what he says.

Midland, thanks for your reply but my thread and question are very specific. If I was going to send the work out of state I wouldn't even use ADCO as I would send straight to PMM or D. Wilson Manufacturing. But I'm looking for some local guys that would be able to handle this and have done this work on a SCAR barrel before.

Hey, if you want second, third, or fourth best, suit yourself.

Trust me I have done research. I know guys like ADCO and some have had great work done. But I have also some close friends I trust that have had a bad experience. If I am sending out of state, I already have two shops I trust way more than ADCO to do work on my barrel.

    Talking

Doug Jones can do it.. easily. ( he was a machinist before he became a gunsmith)
I've seen some unusual rebarreling jobs he's done on a variety of rifles & pistols.
