    DIY finish question

I have a VERY rough condition Colt Cobra with aluminum frame. The finish I about 90% gone on one side and about 40% gone on the other. I do not want to invest much on refinishing this as it is my knock around gun when in the woods or doing yard work, etc. Any ideas on a way to spruce it up a bit? Thanks.

Give the gun a Ceracote finish. Great finish for a beater gun that has no collectable value. Good Shooting, MOOSE

You could polish the whole thing if you don't mind the shine.

I saw a beat up old Walther p38 wearing fde ceracote. I kind of liked it. I almost bought it given that it was marked $400, I probably child have gotten a deal.
    Maybe I'll go back
