Exclamation Remington 700 Tactical target 5R Value

Wondering about a value on a Remington 700 Tactical Target 5R. It only has 20 rounds through it. No scratches or anything wrong with it at all.

    Some details about it:

26" in barrel in a 308 cal with a 1/4" counterbored muzzle (it helps stabilize the bullets flight). It also has the same hammer forged rfiling that is used in the M-24 military rifles. This again improves consistency. It has that glass break X-Mark Pro adjustable trigger, and Bell & Carlson Medalist Tactical Stock. It has the tactical bolt action that is super smooth.

Here are a couple link to show what rifle I am asking about. The 2nd link has some pictures

Put it on gunbroker and find out. But I suspect it's worth less than $1000 (I would guess maybe $800 at best?). It's a used Remington 700 in a relatively cheap B&C stock. Rem 700's simply are not the preferred target rifle anymore; their resale is starting to show that.

How much do you want it to be worth?
Street value IMO is about $650 or $700.
    It's a used R700 with a $250 B&C stock.
The X Mark trigger most people hate and replace.
The counter-bore crown doesn't add value unless you use it as a tomato stake.
The hammer forged barrel while nice, isn't proprietary to long range accuracy or better than an aftermarket barrel performs.

Wander through Snipers Hide, THR, 6mmbr, or something and look at their classified section.
On a really really good day, you get $700 for it. To someone building a target gun, they're buying a 'new' 700 action, with a B&C stock to build on.

How much did you pay for it? that may get you a starting point, that model seems like it's not in current production anymore (all the sites that sold it are 'out of stock' with no pricing). The gundata link you posted has the estimated pricing but I think $1,600 is on the high side not the low side. This model sold brand new for around $2,000 but at a time when gun prices were very high. I would say it's worth around the $1,000 mark.

List it for $1,000 and take somewhere around $800 for it.

Same rifle...different caliber. Sorry I couldn't be more help. I guess people aren't selling those collectible rifles, otherwise more sales would show up.
Don't settle for a penny less than double what you paid!
