Those are fun little guns and surprisingly accurate fi you can see the front sight well enough.

Some bright green nail polish can help that issue. They also sell specialty sight paint.

I had thought about that at one time. Maybe I'll dig through my daughter's nail polish kit and see what I can find. Thank you!

I bought the 4.75" model with the US flag grips for about $120 several months ago. I take it almost every range trip, because if I run out of ammo for other guns I'll plink with it until my time is up.

This pic was 25 yards free standing. Not too terrible, especially because the sights are difficult to get a clean sight picture.

"I'm considering having a Pic rail put on top for a red dot."

Be advised that, should you actually do this, it's likely that someone will pummel you about the head and shoulders. Just sayn'.

Because I'm destroying the collector value of it?

Never, under any circumstances, consume a sleeping pill and laxative on the same night.

Ran 50 lr and another 50 shorts through it this morning. What a fun gun.
Kept it at 5yd to break it in. The first 10 or so had a tendency to fly a little, but by the time I got 50 through it, the pattern tightened up.
Back to the range next Monday.

Dammit now I want that. I am going to have to get mine to my buddy's mill so that we can run some taps into that pot metal!

Actually, mine is pretty awesome and I don't want to mess that up. I guess I need to find another one for short-money for that joke.
