    Criminal procedure; sentencing guidelines; guidelines for making a false statement in support of an extreme risk protection order; enact. Amends 1927 PA 175 (MCL 760.1 - 777.69) by adding sec. 15e to ch. XVII. TIE BAR WITH: SB 0156'19

    So this would be a seizure by the government of the property of an individual not having been convicted of a crime, not contemplating any crime, nor in the act of committing any crime.

    Has anyone an idea when this new waiting period is going to go into effect and also about any sales has to be thru a licensed dealer ?

    This is only an introduction of 3 bills in the Senate.

    These bills have not passed ANY stage in the process, and hopefully never will. I also don't think there is any waiting period associated with these bills, and have not heard of one being introduced.

    I think that the two of you are confusing these Michigan Bills with the two Federal bills that have only passed the US House, have still to pass the R controlled Senate, and Trump has promised to veto.

    As stated, they have only just been introduced. They were assigned to committee, and there has been on further action.
