    Does a threaded barrel

add to the accuracy? Is the threaded portion rifled?
    With Glocks in mind.

Threading is typically the outside of the barrel; no impact on accuracy.
And yes, the threaded portion is rifled internally as well.

Yes, I realize the outside is threaded. So the rifling and extra 1/2" help accuracy?

I would bet that if you could somehow measure "accuracy", you would find no consistently measurable affect, one way or the other.

The length of a barrel really doesn't have much impact on pistol accuracy. That extra 1/2" won't make a measurable difference.

If you are thinking of adding a threaded barrel to a Glock you are welcome to meet me at a range one day and run a couple magazines through my G19.
We can even add you to the RifleGuy Trust for the afternoon if you want to try with a suppressor attached.

This whole idea is for my G17. I'm considering a factory threaded barrel to keep it within the GSSF guidelines of Glock parts only.
I'm hoping it might help tighten it up a bit at 25 yds.

Actual accuracy will not improve, but YOUR accuracy will likely improve some. Shifting the point of balance forward a bit, just a tad more nose heavy, all should work in your favor.

While this is USUALLY true, it is not always true.
There is another method where the internal surface is threaded, then an adapter is screwed in with a smooth internal and a threaded external surface. It's not a frequently used method, but it happens.

Ok. Thank you gentlemen. It does seem strange that the length doesn't help that much, if at all.
I do know a double tap with my light on the rail makes a big difference, but I can't see several grams making much diff.
