It's a brilliant plan. but there aren't a lot of local shops participating yet. and you're still better off renting one at a range and then buying online

If you don't keep it, you are a fool. It's an incredible gun. IMHO the benchmark for the most modern striker fired gun.

Good idea, people suck at rebates, returns anything like that. They think they will return it, they won't, even if they wanted to ... its a sale thats staying a sale.

Wish a couple others manufacturers would do this.

Williams gun sight is offering a demo days event Mar, 15th-17Th IIRC. They are offering a Walther rep on site, sale prices and free range trials with Walther pistols if any are interested.

out of the box, the best trigger you're going to find on a production gun. It's better than many upgraded triggers.
Walther has been giving you 3 different size backstraps with many of their guns for over 20 years.
The basic sights on a ppq are amazingly easy to adjust or swap out.
It has a finish that's very protective.
    ...
so no, it doesn't have any one thing that nobody else does, but it has a whole lot of things that many other guns make you pay more to get. but they dont' charge extra for them.

Plus, it is ambi, ergonomic, and contoured where it should be. Carries much smaller than its footprint.
