Son is looking for a used AK. Have found a few good deals on some but not with the original laminated stock furniture. One of our members, mittenman, has graciously donated a stock to us. It is pretty rough, but I think I can re-finish it. Follow the progress of this project if you like.
Still looking for the forward hand guards & pistol grip.

Whatever. Not soliciting for free stuff. I just know there are a bunch of folks that have exactly what I want laying around, taking up space. What are they truly worth to someone that took them off, replaced them with tac stuff & tossed them in a tote or closet ?

Numrich has some nice take offs, but if you can get good local stuff even better.

Got all of the black paint off. Some sanding & I think it will be ready for some stain & a finish. Think I'll wait till I find the hand guards before I go any farther.
