What;s so worthless about it? I own a Marlin 336 in 35rem.

And my Marlin 336 in .30-.30 put a LOT of meat on the table.

30-30 and .35 Rem are suitable deer rifles. .30 carbine, not so much. Pretty much an expensive plinker.
