Don't forget to look at shipping cost if you buy online, TargetsportsUSA.com and several others will give you free shipping on case lots. both of those are most search engines give you an indication of shipping cost along with their pricing.

Seems like gander has free shipping if you spend over 50 or 100 bucks. Academy sports does as well I believe.
Not sure where you live but I picked up some at rural king in hartland. I'll be honest I'm not sure what a great deal on 223 really is but they had several options. Two different armscor options at just under 7 dollars a box and 50 rnd boxes of gecco for around 13.50

I live in Lincoln park. I found some boxes at Walmart for 4.87 for 20 rounds and bought 3 the other day but looking to stock up.

    JWade78:
Ammoman.com provides free shipping over $100. Their prices are pretty much exactly what the other ammo companies charge less shipping. Unless you buy in bulk, you will not save anything. Even our MGO ads do not generally have great prices on ammo.
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, “You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.”

If you dont want to buy "a lot" of ammo and still get free shipping, Palmetto has Federal green tip. 90 rounds on 30 round chargers for $25 per box. 3 boxes gets you free shipping.
