Lets call it what it is.

The MSP shouldn't have a lobbyist.
The Constitution is NOT dead. It's just being held captive.

MOC President Tom Lambert was not shy in his response: "This is not a weapons offense, this is an administrative offense. No one is in any danger because someone simply forgot to pay a fee on time."

As for higher standards and missing deadlines, Tom reminded those in attendance, including the MSP, that "CPL-holders statistically commit less crime than law-enforcement officers, an individual can be criminally disqualified from obtaining a CPL yet still be a law-enforcement officer, and, when it comes to the MSP and deadlines, they miss the deadline for their annual CPL report by months every year, not to mention the FOIA deadlines they frequently miss."

So to the MSP, "when it comes to higher standards and deadlines, you first!"
Way to go Tom Lambert! Call the MSP on their BS!

We're trying to get audio for the meeting.

Just describing Tom giving the MSP his pimp hand doesn't do it justice.

Still an improvement, but not as good as the original.

Realistically speaking if this were to pass, any chance the governor would actually sign it?

She doesn't want to fix the roads. She wants to get re-elected. Dealing with her is like dealing with a foreign despot. Neither can be trusted. She has gotten caught in a major lie and then lied about it to try to cover herself.

I have been invited to appear before the Judiciary Committee tomorrow morning at 9am to testify in favor of this bill.

There is an excellent chance Governor Whitmer will sign this bill--so far there is wide bipartisan support. In fact, no legislator has come out in opposition yet.

Hmm, what's wrong with it then.
