Even shooting at a tree, you better know what's behind it. Especially with a 50BMG.

Thanks. I just looked them up. Unfortunately they are only 28 yards.

I have been up to Huron Valley Guns in New Hudson a couple times. They have a 50 BMG rated 100 yard indoor range. The first time I went up there, they tested my PMC Bronze ammo with a magnet and it was fine. Today it didn't pass and had to buy their expensive ammo, so I am looking for somewhere else, as I buy my ammo in bulk. I don't mind joining a private range, but am a business owner and don't have time for a lot of hoops. Plus some of them don't allow 50 BMG either, like one of my buddies that he belongs to. I heard Detroit Sportmen's Congress does and is about an hour from me. I sent them an email to see if they still allow 50 BMG. They have limited hours open to the public. Would be nice to find something a little closer anyways. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Many thanks in advance.
Did you ever hear back from Detroit Sportmen's Congress?

I did not, but I did talk to the Carleton Sportsmens Club. They are 50 BMG rated and are open to the public on Wednesdays and Sundays.
