Not to get too deep in the weeds, but the last time the Republicans (Rino's and conservatives and everything in between) held a Super Majority in the Senate was the 60th Congress from 1907-1909 when they held 61 seats.

Yet somehow, Republican presidents have been able to get laws passed since then? Of course they have.

Mitch McConnell is supposed to be some political mastermind well versed in getting vulnerable Democrats from red(ish) states to support his agenda. They did have the chance during Trumps first two years but they balked twice. First during the softball practice shooting and then after the Las Vegas shooting. Those with ample supplies of tin foil might be forgiven for thinking if it came up a third time, there would be yet another tragedy to derail it.

Guess we will just have to wait and hope the GOP can re take the House and gain even more Senate seats and keep the White House and maybe THEN, maybe they will throw gun owners a bone. Maybe.
