    XDS trigger.

Have an XDS 45 ACP. Been my primary carry weapon for almost 7 years. Have never had any issues with the gun. However, I had it at the cabin this week & wanted to shoot it one last time before putting it away for the summer. Ran 50 rounds through it, no problem. After, I cleaned & put it back together. That's when I noticed that the trigger will not re-set. Will only do so when the slide is racked. Took it back outside & fired one round & it fired ok & reset. Will not reset when dry firing.

    Any ideas ?

Mine does the same, it appears to be normal.

I'm not sure I'm understanding you correctly. Are you saying the trigger stays pulled back when dry-firing, and only re-sets after you rack the slide? If so, that's how 99.9% of striker fired pistols operate.

I know I've pulled the trigger to get the slide off. Guess I never dry fired it. Just seemed weird to me at the time.

Watched a utube video. It is normal. Thanks guys.
