My google-** must be weak because I can't find this anywhere. I assume this piece is not stock? What is it called? What does it do? When I bought my 22 used it also came with a lone wolf 9mm barrel. Did it come with that barrel? Is it supposed to only be used with that barrel?

Buffer Technologies Recoil Buffer. Strike Industries makes a similar buffer in a different plastic.

My recommendation would be to toss the buffer. I have personally seen them fall apart and stop the gun. Not good.
