    Bersa 380CC on Sale - Dunhams $229

It's on the Dunhams shooting sports webpage. I'd post a link, but I'm too new apparently.

You have to wait to have it delivered to the local store, but delivery is free, no FFL fees, and $229 for the pistol and an extra magazine is a very good price.

Obviously, the hot pink zipper case and pink grips won't be around long, but I'll live with tossing them.

    Great gun for the price.

$3 bottle of RIT dye can solve both easily

I'd bite.. but I don't really want to add a new caliber to my ammo box... now if they had a batch of used (because they aren't made anymore) Series 95's, or Thunder 32's, I'd buy two or three!

aside from collecting versions, which is a fine hobby, what makes this a better buy than something like an LCP/P3AT bodyguard (on sale for $220 at cdnn), etc? I know it's metal, but I've had a few metal guns that weren't near as reliable as some pocket polys.

The Bersa .380s have a well deserved reputation for reliability. Some shooters prefer a conventional hammer ignition, DA/SA lockwork. And they are half the price of the Walther or SIG equivalents.

I like less flex in the frame, and ability to put on a hogue or pachmayr rubber grip.

Agreed though about bersa good rep.

easier to shoot, softer to shoot, look at the angle the bullet enters the chamber on the bersas they are known the feed very well.

I guess it doesnt have to be that much better, but it is a good answer to the same lowcost reliable question.

I am not a fan of the cheapness of kel tecs, I would try a lcp though.

Another thing is that this model is a blowback pistol.. that fixed barrel makes for some crazy good accuracy for a pistol this size and caliber. You can also get the Bersa 380 in a 15rd doublestack if one were so inclined. The BP380cc is a great single stack slim pistol, although for the same size and relative weight, the 9mm variant is a better choice, IMO. Full disclosure, the Bersa BP9cc is my primary carry pistol, and yes, even with it's 3.5# trigger.
