I have a Smith and Wesson model 36 in 38 special.
It’s in great condition and has a 3” barrel.
E19 is stamped just above the model number and the serial is j346220.
Planning on selling and I’m curious the value, again the gun is in great condition.

Should be a Model 36-1 if it is a 3". Serial shows 1976 manufacture. Condition and factory original grips determine value. WAG, for value in "great" condition, $300 to $400, a little more with the box, cleaning kit and documents.
Pictures would always help in determining a price.
John,
If we still had tapatalk I could add photos, I won’t put my photos on a picture hosting site ever again. It has original grips but no box or anything. I can email anyone interested with pics.
