Umm, have you ever heard of a muzzle loader shooting real BP?
All powders leave behind some kind of residue. Most all of the more modern powders (other than BP substitutes and the junk they use in .22s) leave so little that you almost never have to clean it. But is still there.
I don't have any idea what the guys that put a silencer (suppressor) on a muzzle loader are thinking.
