I understand your logic. However, look years ahead and what the potential arguments against ownership or even storage may be.

But we already have two SCOTUS decisions on this, Heller and McDonald. Heller ruled for keeping guns (in an operable condition) in the home, and McDonald incorporated it through the 14th A.

However, I'm a board member at a club, a high school shooting coach and also volunteer at several youth shooting events. I see the problem we have now, not hypothetical scenarios enacted by a tyrannical regime.
