You need to recall that as I recall most of these 'restricted areas' were put in to get shall issue passed now 18 yrs ago.

I need to remind my rep that he favors cut outs and the last one will be easy--for every one... that has been 18 yrs ago. I wont be here (and he will be out out the legislature) in another 18 years.

    Yup. Getting a hearing today.

Looks like it'll be broadcast on House TV as well.

Tom Lambert just did a terrific job demonstrating the process an unlicensed firearm carrier has to go through to open carry in MI. Bravo!

I wonder why it was assigned to a new committee. Could be good, could be bad....

    Update:

Beau is the vice chair in the judiciary committee. We're good!

Because Military, Veterans, and Homeland Security isn't a super committee. That's why it got assigned to a "new" committee.

I thought ways and means was the only super committee. A short bit of research showed I was wrong. Historically, we get creamed in the Judiciary committee so that is why I was concerned. Learning that Beau is still involved makes me more relaxed.

Let's hope things work so well for us in the Senate.

Constitutional carry isn’t going to happen in Michigan. No way to hold the oath breakers accountable.
